SKIN MEMBERSHIPS – FAQ SHEET

WHAT IS A SKIN GYM MEMBERSHIP?

The Skin Gym Membership is a flexible beauty and skin health program designed to provide you with consistent professional skin treatments, real results, exclusive perks, and significant cost savings — all while helping you commit to your skin and body goals over time.

This is not just a discount plan — it's an intentional results-based membership that rewards consistency and self-care with ongoing access to advanced treatments and member-only benefits.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Each membership tier gives you access to:

  • Monthly or fortnightly skin and/or body treatments tailored to your specific goals (e.g. acne clearing, anti-aging, hydration, body contouring, pigmentation correction)

  • Exclusive member discounts on add-ons, upgrades, and products

  • Access to advanced treatments (e.g. HIFU, LED, IPL, Peels, Microdermabrasion, etc.)

  • VIP priority booking

  • Ongoing support and skin analysis throughout your membership

Exact inclusions may vary depending on your selected plan.

HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?

  • Payment Method: All membership payments are processed via automatic direct debit only via AGLOW, you can also pay via afterpay or zip pay

  • Frequency: You can choose weekly, fortnightly, or monthly deductions.

  • GST: All pricing is inclusive of GST.

  • Failed Payments: If your payment fails, a small reprocessing fee (around $5) may apply to cover admin costs.

You are responsible for ensuring that your nominated account or card has sufficient funds. Repeated failed payments may result in the suspension of your membership and forfeiture of booked appointments.

IS THERE A CONTRACT?

Nope. This is a no lock-in contract membership.
However, cancellations or pauses must be requested with a minimum of 14 days’ notice. This allows us to process and schedule changes properly.

HOW DO I CANCEL OR PAUSE MY MEMBERSHIP?

  • Notification: You must send your cancellation or pause request in writing, either via text or direct message (Instagram/Facebook accepted).

  • Notice Period: A minimum of 14 days' notice is required before the next payment is due.

  • Why 14 Days? Because your membership includes booking priority and time slots — which affect our schedule and availability. Giving 14 days lets us reallocate your spot and process any changes without financial penalty to you or us.

    CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CHANGE MY MIND?

    No. All payments already processed are non-refundable, even if:

    • You didn’t use your treatment that month

    • You forgot to pause or cancel

    • You changed your mind

    Once a payment goes through, the value is still valid for the treatment within your billing cycle and cannot be refunded. Please manage your membership responsibly.PLEASE NOTE:

    If you have paid for your Skin Gym membership upfront via Afterpay or Zip Pay, the above membership terms do not apply in full.

    • You are not on an automatic direct debit system only via your chosen above method for the time frame until payment is paid off.

    • Cancellation, pausing, and payment frequency options do not apply to prepaid Afterpay/Zip Pay packages.

    • Your treatments are to be booked and used in line with the package purchased.

    • Missed appointments or delays in usage will not extend your validity period or offer credits unless otherwise discussed in writing.

    Please ensure you read your specific prepaid package terms or speak to us directly if unsure.

  • No Refunds Policy – Skin Gym
    Please note that all payments made for the Skin Gym membership, packages, or treatments are non-refundable. Once purchased or prepaid, refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. This ensures fair and consistent treatment for all clients enrolled in the program.

WHAT IF I MISS A TREATMENT?

You’re responsible for booking and attending your treatment within each billing cycle. If you:

  • Forget to book

  • Cancel last minute (less than 24 hours notice)

  • Don’t show up

Then that treatment is forfeited for that cycle. It does not roll over into the next month or get stored as credit. UNLESS WE HAVE CANCELLED OR RESCHEDULED LAST MINUTE.(DAY BEFORE OR DAY OF)

PAUSING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

We get it — life happens. You’re allowed 1 pause per year under the following terms:

  • Pause Duration: Up to 30 consecutive days

  • Notice Required: At least 7 days’ written notice before the pause begins

  • Conditions: During the paused period, no treatments can be booked or redeemed.

Pauses cannot be backdated or used as credit. Use it wisely — it’s meant for holidays, health issues, or life admin, not as a way to skip payments and still expect services.

CAN I SHARE MY MEMBERSHIP WITH SOMEONE ELSE?

No. Memberships are strictly non-transferable and can only be used by the person whose name is on the account.

WHY IS THERE A REPROCESSING FEE IF I MISS A PAYMENT?

We work with third-party secure payment platforms, and each failed payment triggers admin handling, payment gateway fees, and sometimes additional banking charges. The small reprocessing fee ensures we’re not out of pocket due to failed transactions.
